I had cover a lot of techniques and tips to download Youtube movie. Now, i would like to introduce another web service which let users to convert and download Youtube movies in different formats.
CatchYoutube lets you convert Youtube movies into different audio and video formats and then download them to your computers. To use CatchYoutube, simple provide the link to the Youtube movie, and choose your target format.
CatchYoutube supports .mpg, .mov, .dvd, .mp4, .3gp, .mp3, .wav, .flv. You are not able to select the video quality. But it is good to save CatchYoutube to your bookmarks and use it as an alternative service when your favorite Youtube converter services are down.

Splicd is a web service which can grab any segment from any Youtube movie.
Simply provide the URL of the movie and then type the start and stop time frame. After that, press the continue button and you will get a link to share with your friends.
By visiting the link, you are able to view the original movie or the splice movie. Instead of watching the whole clip, you are able to share the interesting part of any movie by using this service.

There are a lot of web services which let users to download online movie. Some of the example are TubeZoid, Catchvideo, ClipNabber, and etc. But, these web services may down when you want to download movie. So, why not you install an application which can download and convert movie from internet?
So, how you download movie using TubeMaster Plus? Just open the application, and type the address of the movie (it support most of the popular video sharing website). Then, the download will start automatically (depands on your settings, i had enable automtic download of new movie).
If you want to save high defination movie, you can also enable it in your settings. You may also use TubeMaster Plus to convert movie to anothe rformat. The supported formats are: FLV, AVI, MPEG, MP3, MP3, and WMV.
It is a handy and must tool for everyone who like to watch and download movie from video sharing website.

Downloading YouTube movie has never been so easy. TubeZoid let users replace “youtube” with “tubezoid” so that they can download the movie on the fly.
I had cover a lot of web services which let users download movie from YouTube and other movie sharing websites. Two of the most popular are Clip Nabber and Vixy.net. But TubeZoid provide an extra feature – just replace “youtube” with “tubezoid” in the URL and TubeZoid will convert the movie on the fly!
This feature let users easily convert and download youtube movie even faster. Currently, TubeZoid supports YouTube, Google Video, Break, Veoh, Dailymotion, Metacafe, and several adult movie sites.

Movavi online video converter is another cool service which support a lot of output formats. You can download movie from video-sharing websites and save to your desired device/formats.
You can paste the movie clips URL or upload from your own computer. You can upload up to 5 files and the individual file is limited to 10 minutes length or 100MB. After you upload the files, you can then choose your desired output format. Movavi a lot of output format, such as avi, mpeg, ipod, psp, 3gp, and flv.
You should then provide your email address and Movavi will notify you when your files are ready.
Although Movavi provide a simple step to convert the movie, but i hope that they can provide me the download links immediately after i upload my files. It is very troublesome to check the mailbox frequently just to wait for the download links.

FLV Extract is a light application which able to extract contents from flv files. User can extract movie, music and text from the source flv.
FLV extract able to extract the original contents from flv source, and keep the original quality. Music files will be saved in mp3 format while movie files will be saved in avi format (support H.263/FLV1 and VP6/VP6F).
To use FLV extract, simply drag the flv file and drop it, FLV extract will automatically extract the contents.
Before you drop the flv file, you can uncheck/check the video, timecodes, and audio so that you only extract contents that you interested.
This application require .NET framework 2.0 to run. The source codes for FLV Extract are included in the zip file.

Catchvideo.net is an online web2.0 service which can download and convert Youtube video to different formats.
There are a lot of web services which can capture and convert Youtube video. I had cover a few of them in my previous post. Catchvideo is a service which similar with them, but comes with more user-friendly interface.
To use Catchvideo, simply provide the URL of Youtube video and choose the format (it support mpeg, mov, mp4, 3gp, mp3, and flv). After that, hit the “Convert and download” button. Normally it take only 1 minute for the conversion. After the conversion, you will get a link to download the video to your local hard drive.

There are a lot of online video conversion services. I would like to share few of them, which i believe are better compare to the rest.
So, why we need online video conversion service? It is because online video conversion service will update frequently when the video sharing site change the format of their URL. I actually wrote about Vixy.net and ClipNabber before and i would like to share 5 more services which my readers.

In my previous post, i wrote about Zamzar, which is a free file conversion tool. Now Zamzar developers had add new festures, which let users to upload video and convert to other formats. Users can provide the URL of online movie and Zamzar will grab and convert it automatically.

There are a few website which provide user to grab and download online movie like Youtube, MegaVideo, Dailymotion, and etc. One of the example are ClipNabber. However, ClipNabber not support format conversion, which means that the movie file downloaded is a .flv extension. You need another software to convert it if yiou want to save them in your portable movie player.
