There are a lot of online video conversion services. I would like to share few of them, which i believe are better compare to the rest.
So, why we need online video conversion service? It is because online video conversion service will update frequently when the video sharing site change the format of their URL. I actually wrote about Vixy.net and ClipNabber before and i would like to share 5 more services which my readers.
Zamzar
In my previous post, i wrote about Zamzar, which is a free file conversion tool. Now Zamzar developers had add new festures, which let users to upload video and convert to other formats. Users can provide the URL of online movie and Zamzar will grab and convert it automatically.
Mux
Mux provide similar service, but the interesting part is they use picture to guide users to choose the download options. For example, if you want to download the iPhone/iPod format, you can click the iPhone/iPod image. This is suitable for users who not very familiar with video format.
Convert Direct
Convert Direct looks similar with Vixy.net. Users can use Convert Direct to download the flv file from the video sharing website, or convert to other formats that they wish. Currently, Convert Direct only support a few video format such as mov, avi, 3gp, and mp4.
Media Converter
They provide a step by step guide for users. Although it take longer to to choose the options, but Media Converter support more video sharing website and also more formats.
Flvix.com
Users can easily convert video from any video sharing website, but the supported formats are limited. But, flvix.com has faster conversion speed compare with others.
