2 online zip file services which you may need

Posted on the February 19th, 2008 under Application, Internet by dicky

Mail My zip and zip online are 2 free service which can compress up to 5 files at once and then forward the result zip file to any email or download to your own computer.

I had introduced Wobzip, an online service which can uncompress zip file and now i would like to introduce 2 services which can create zip file online. You may need them when you are using other computer which doesn’t install any zip application. Although Windows XP can create zip file easily, but other OS users may need to install zip application in order to create/open zip file.

Both Mail My Zip and Zip Online allow user to compress 5 files at once and you can choose either to send the zip file to email or not. No registration required to use this service, but you must enter the security code before you continue.

The main difference between these 2 services is the maximum single file size supported by them. Mail My Zip allow 2MB per file while Zip Online only allow 650kb per file.

Nice find! This service is definitely useful for people who do not have Zip utility installed in system.
