Unlocker is an application which can unlock any files or folders from the system. This is very useful when you want to delete some files but windows lock them.
Had you seen this warning message when you try to delete some file/folder?
This is probably cause by other application is using the file or folder. Sometimes, even we turn off all applications that related with the file/folder, the message box still popup. This is probably cause by some hidden application that use it, or probably it is a virus/spyware?
By using Unlocker, you can unlock the file/folder so that you can delete it. If you run Unlocker Assistant, a popup window will automatically appear when you trying to delete locked files.
Simply click Unlock All and then you can delete the files/folders. In this example, i am trying to delete a folder which contains gTask.exe and XPTable.dll and i am running gTask.exe. Unlocker warned me that the gTask.exe and XPTable.dll are being used and ask me to unlock them before delete. After i press the Unlock All button, i can then delete this folder.
I face some problem when i trying to unlock .NET application. Even i press the Unlock All button, the application still running and i still can’t delete the file. When i try to unlock second time, this window appear:
This is probably cause by the different dispose behavior for .NET applications (correct me if i make any mistakes, as i am not a programmer expert.) I hope the next version will fix this problem.
