The main advantage of web-based to-do lists is that you can access them in different place or different computers. Currently, 7tasks doesn’t support notification service. So, users need to login to check the to-do lists and uncheck those tasks that had been done. But, i believe they are going to add the notification service in the next release.

How to synchronize files between 2 path quickly and easily

PathSync is an interactive directory synchronizer for windows and it can analyze 2 directories and show user a list of differences between the two directories.

The synchronization process is pretty straight forward. You choose 2 different folders for synchronization. You can then select the action, either Bidirectional, Local->Remote, or Remote->Local. Then, you click the Analyze button and the application will show you the differences between the 2 folders.

Let say the files only appear in the Remote directory, then you can synchronize them by copy the remote files to the local directory. You can also click on the individual file to choose other options, or select No Action.

This is a good tool if you want to do daily backup on your documents. The comparison is pretty fast and you can choose different actions for different files. The most important is, this application is a free ware and it comes with its source code.
