Shareapic is a free image hosting website that pay you for uploading and sharing your images. You can upload unlimited pictures and there is no file size restrictions.
Similar with other image hosting service, Shareapic offer you to upload images, get an embed code and then display those images on your website or any other website such as MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, and etc. But, Shareapic do share their revenue with users. The payment will be made when you reach $20.00 and will pay directly into your PayPal account.
So, how much you earn per image view? Let’s take an example and i will show you the calculation:
- Let say Shareapic want to distribute $1000 between their users and there are 5000,000 images view for that particular month. So, each image view will equal to $0.0002, which means $0.2 per 1000 images view. So, if you have a forum or blog which have lots of readers everyday, you can imagine how much can you earn per month? It is quite a bit of money, right?
Besides earn from image view, you can also place Adsence code in your image gallery pages. When others click on these Ads, you will get money! For those who own a website or blog, you can place a widget to promote your image gallery and invite your readers to join Shareapic. Each time you refer a user, you will earn 10% of their image views forever!

Adobe launch SHARE Beta, a flash-based file sharing application in September 2007. They still in beta testing but the interface is quite nie and easy to use.
There are more and more file hosting service around us. You can read about Top free file hosting server from my blog to look at a few examples. Now, Adobe launch its own file sharing server called SHARE, which has a nice interface. After you register, they will provide you 1GB storage, but they won’t limit your single file size.
The embedded previewer now allows embedding of image files (including jpeg, gif, png) and more interesting also allows embedding Flash Movies (.SWF) on websites, wikis or blogs. After you upload the file, you can set the access level to either Open access or Limited access. If you set to Limited access, only your recipient can access the file. EatLime let you share any files with your friends or family much faster. The download process can start immediately when you start upload.
Like other file sharing service, EatLime let users to share any file types but limit the file size to 1GB. After you choose the file that you want to share, a link will be given to you. You can then give this link to your friends and they can start downloading the file. Gmail had increased its storage to around 5GB(~4.5GB). This was probably caused by other competitor( Yahoo and Hotmail) which offer unlimited and 5GB space respectively.
Gmail Drive is an application which con convert our Gmail account into online storage. Manage your ‘GDrive’ is similar as manage your folder on your desktop PC. Between the email providers, Gmail is the only one which can be used as online storage.
After install the Gmail Drive shell extension, under My Computer, you will see ‘Gmail Drive’ which can connect to your Gmail account. File upload to GDrive will be convert into an email attachment. So when you open your Gmail, you can see a lot of email message with your filename. You can even email the file to your friends and they can actually download your file using Gmail Drive. Cool!
