Mail My zip and zip online are 2 free service which can compress up to 5 files at once and then forward the result zip file to any email or download to your own computer.
I had introduced Wobzip, an online service which can uncompress zip file and now i would like to introduce 2 services which can create zip file online. You may need them when you are using other computer which doesn’t install any zip application. Although Windows XP can create zip file easily, but other OS users may need to install zip application in order to create/open zip file.
Mail My Zip

Zip Online

Both Mail My Zip and Zip Online allow user to compress 5 files at once and you can choose either to send the zip file to email or not. No registration required to use this service, but you must enter the security code before you continue.
The main difference between these 2 services is the maximum single file size supported by them. Mail My Zip allow 2MB per file while Zip Online only allow 650kb per file.

InstaPaper is a service where you can cerate a list of stories which you will read it later. Use the bookmarklet button to send any articles to your account and read them later.

Still remember my article about how to forward good website to your email account? Basically, both of them let you save article for later read. Let say you go to library and found some interesting articles, or you found some long articles but currently you are not free to go through them, you probably will bookmark them and read later right? But, when you free, do you really read them? I am sure most of you may not read them, or you probably forgot which articles that you bookmarked just now.

SpyPig is a free email tracking system which can send you a notification when your friends read your email. This special tracking system works with any web-based email program.
If you are using email client such as Microsoft Outlook with Microsoft Exchange Server, You can easily get notfied when your recipients read your email, but it is impossible for web-based email application such as Yahoo Mail, Gmail, or Live Mail to implement this feature.
SpyPig provide users a special image which include a tracking code. Users can then insert this tracking image in their email message, and they will get notified when others read the email.
To use SpyPig, simply provide them your email address, then type your message title (this is for better tracking so that you can know which email has been read). You can then choose your SpyPig image (if you don’t want your recipients know you are tracking the email, choose a blank image). After that, you can paste the tracking image on your email message and then send out the email. Currently, they limit the number of notification emails to 5 for each tracking code, which means you will only get 5 notifications even there are 10 people read your email.
SpyPig works fine with all email applications, both desktop clients and web-based email. But, you need to change some settings on your Microsoft Outlook in order for SpyPig to work. You can check it out here.
Note: Both you and your recipients must use HTML-format email so that they will download the tracking image when they open the email.

Sometimes, you found some interesting articles over the internet and you would like to store them in your bookmark. But, you can’t bring your bookmark together with you, unless you install bookmark synchronization application or use online bookmark service such as Del.icio.us. But, if you want to keep your bookmark private, you had to keep these bookmarks on your own computer.
toread is a web service which can forward any websites to our email account. When you found any interesting article, you can click the toread bookmarklet button and a copy of the website will then delivered to your email account. You can then categorize those articles in your email account.
How it works?
- Type your email address and then press Start now. They will send you an email and you need to click on the link provided to verify your email account.

- After you verify your email account, you are ready to use “toread” bookmark service. You can then right-click the [toread] button and choose “Bookmark this link” from the drop down menu to add this service to your bookmark. Otherwise, you can simply drag-and-drop the [toread] button to your Firefox Toolbar.

- Now, you can start bookmark any websites. When you click on the toread bookmarklet button, the website’s content will automatically forward to your email account. The subject of the email will start with [toread], to indicate that the website is being sent by toread.
Notes: You can also add toread button to your blog/website so that your visitors can forward your contents to their email account. Please refer Add “toread” button to your web site! for more information.
