Shareapic - Earn money when you share pictures

Posted on the December 17th, 2007 under Internet by dicky

Shareapic is a free image hosting website that pay you for uploading and sharing your images. You can upload unlimited pictures and there is no file size restrictions.

shareapicSimilar with other image hosting service, Shareapic offer you to upload images, get an embed code and then display those images on your website or any other website such as MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, and etc. But, Shareapic do share their revenue with users. The payment will be made when you reach $20.00 and will pay directly into your PayPal account.

So, how much you earn per image view? Let’s take an example and i will show you the calculation:

  • Let say Shareapic want to distribute $1000 between their users and there are 5000,000 images view for that particular month. So, each image view will equal to $0.0002, which means $0.2 per 1000 images view. So, if you have a forum or blog which have lots of readers everyday, you can imagine how much can you earn per month? It is quite a bit of money, right?

Besides earn from image view, you can also place Adsence code in your image gallery pages. When others click on these Ads, you will get money! For those who own a website or blog, you can place a widget to promote your image gallery and invite your readers to join Shareapic. Each time you refer a user, you will earn 10% of their image views forever!

Even i tried Sharepic, and reviewed it, but i was not successful in earning that much money, just few cents that came across.

@Vaibhav: I don’t think Shareapic can bring you much money. They pay around $0.2 per 1000 view, which is quite low…. So, treat it as your side income…

Sounds liks a good idea but you would have to have a lot of traffic to make a decent amount of money. I dont think I would give it a try anytime soon.

@Gerri: You are right, we need lot of traffic to make money. But the interesting point is you can actually put these images on Friendster, MySpace, and other social network service and you still can earn money.

I have tried Share a pic and I must agree with Dicky that you need a lot of views.

And i wasted all my effort to upload all that bunch of picture. i even referred some frens and i just cant log in to my account again!
note: I did not upload any porno or xxx photo!

@Bonuslink: Are you using any “illegal” way to bump up your traffic? If not, i think you can try to write an email to them, tell them your condition. Maybe they will re-open your account.

I had a very bad experience with shareapic recently. Have been using it for almost a year and sure they do pay but be very careful once your earnings start to increase and accumulate. I had a balance of USD100+ and no, i did not do any autoclicks. They were page views from all the posting i did in various forums around the world. One day they just banned my account and after my appeal to them to reopen it, i was devastated to find out that they have totally wiped out all the photos and earnings with the reason that i do autoclicks, which i never did. Oh and do not forget that they will also slash 50% of your earnings with the reason that the traffic generated from your photos are from Asian countries, which no one can actually verify. Scam? its your say!

Shareapic has clarified the above post in their forums. I’ve been paid over 15 times, and they are certainly not a scam!!!
