IsMyLcdOK is a small program but effective solution to easily check for dead/paralyzed/stuck pixels on LCD monitors.

Basically, this application test 8 different colors, horizontal and vertical lines on your LCD. During the test, you can search for any dead/paralyzed/stuck pixels.

This is a portble and free tool and you can bring along this application when you want to buy a new LCD. This can make sure the LCD doesn’t has any dead pixels.

Nice tool. Luckily some of us don’t have use for it, but for those who do it has all the features, portable, small and effective. Can’t remember the last time I had a monitor with a dead pixel…

I did not any opportunity to see the dead pixel in lcd monitor
      however
I think one of easy way to check for dead pixel is

      1. open your browser in your computer
      2. open blank wepage without typing any webaddress
      3. press f11 to see the page in full screen
now you will be able to see your monitor absolutely in white
colour and it will make easy to find out the dead pixel.

      what do you think?

      Cheers

@Ntrivedi: I believe you may use this method to test your lcd. But IsMyLcdOK provide more advance features such as changing background color and gradient.
