Filelime is a free file hosting service which provide free 150MB spaces with 5 multiple uploads. No registration required. Filelime is among the latest website which provide file uploading and hosting service.

There are a lot of free file hosting service that you can found. From my previous posts, i introduce about SHARE, EatLime, and also top free file hosting server. Now, i would like to introduce filelime, another file hosting server which has its unique feature. They introduce upload progress bar, which will show your upload progress in real-time! This is really useful as we can estimate how long we should wait and we may also know how much is the upload speed. The screenshot for the upload progress bar is shown below:

Another attractive feature that they offer is that you will have a direct link to the file. Upon finish uploading, they will generate a file URL directly point to that file. When user press this link, they can directly download the file, without the need to key-in and verification code or waiting.

Compare to other file hosting server, they does not need any registration. So, i am afraid that users can share illegal materials over their network. With the maximum size of 150MB per upload, user can choose up to 5 file for a single upload, but the total size of files can not exceed 150MB.

I personally feel that they may need to change the position of Add another file? link because the link is in between 2 Google Ads. At first i even can’t find that link. Besides this, i think they may need to add an About page so that visitors may know more about them.
