How to delete all hyperlinks in Word document with shortcut key

Posted by Dickey on Apr 12th, 09 | Filed under Tips | 22 Comments

If you copy contant from web and paste them into Microsoft Word file, you may found that there are a lot of hyperlinks, which you may want to delete them.

So, how to you delete those unused hyperlinks? Simply right-click them one by one and choose “Remove hyperlink“? This method is very time consuming especially if you have a very long article that has a lot of hyperlinks.

The second method you may try to paste the content into a notepad first, then copy content from notepad, and paste again into a new Word file. This method will also remove the heading and style of your content, it is because when you paste something to notepad, notepad will only read plain text from it.

So, how to solve this problem wisely? The best method is to paste your content into a new word file, press “Ctrl + A” to select all, and then use the shortcut key “Ctrl + Shift + F9” to remove all hyperlinks.

Simple, huh?

Your friend will receive an anonymous email which ask them to stop spamming/forwarding emails and he will recognize his errors in sending those meaningless emails. This is the email that he will receive.

I personally think that it would be better if let us to include our name or email. So that our friend can only exclude our name in their “mailing list” while let the others interested people still able to read their mails.
